"This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect...

"Overall really nice but couldn’t give it perfect rating. It’s clearly built to be a rental. Thin walls and very close to adjacent homes. So much so that we were awakened several times by neighbors. Fireplace is really nice and they supply plenty of wood. Hot tub was great. Only real complaint was that both toilets in the bathrooms were child sized and not elongated for adults. Makes it a little difficult for adults to use. Other than that, stay was great. "

"This was a great place close to everything that we needed. Very comfortable. My only complaint is that we did not get the right code to unlock the door on arrival and the people above us were soooooooo loud screaming and stomping around 24/7. It sounded like they were doing gymnastics up there and felt like they’d come through the ceiling at some points. "

"This charming lakefront retreat fit our needs perfectly for our friends getaway on Selkirk Lake. Great views from the deck with lots of room and loads of seating. Inside was neat, clean and very spacious. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials that we needed. And the owner was quick to respond to our messages. Looking forward to staying here again."
