"My family and I stayed here over Christmas for a couple of nights and we’re quite surprised with our stay, the house itself is lovely and the space was great for all the family to be together with our own rooms and the dogs loved it too, however I am disappointed to say the cleanliness of the manor was rather unsatisfactory. "The apartment is in an excellent location right by the river, two minutes walk from several restaurants and five minutes walk to York centre. It was lovely and warm and the garage a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack as is standard in self catering accommodation and the kettle was heavily lime scaled.
