We had a late, easy and friendly check in , all was good no problems ,nice comfy night in the room . plenty of choice for breakfast in the morning , nice well cooked english , all the staff where polite and courteous , had to book the mercure at the last moment and worked out great ! This is a nice hotel to stay and will do so again , no complaints

The hotel has definitely seen better days. It is fairly run down in some areas. The windows in our room were running with condensation and the bathroom tiles cracked. However, the bed was comfortable, the shower good and breakfast wonderful. The staff were all welcoming and polite. I would recommend a stay here as long as your expectations are not too high.

Check-in was fabulous ..... young lady (very long hair) was extra friendly but professional and had good conversational skills. She followed protocol by not saying my room number out loud even though there was no-one else in the area. Extremely happy with the service. Room was very clean and comfortable - everything worked.
