"Good location - staff friendly and helpful - room lightening very dull to read anything only bathroom light bright - no lifts only stairs - beds were small I was frightened to turn over incase I fell out of bed - seems an old building g needs a refurb to modernise it - windows didn’t open to stay open enough to get signing and radiators in a timer room very warm- otherwise it served the purpose glad we only stayed 1 night "

"Lovely staff, easy check in, fantastic room very comfy and clean and had everything we could have wished for. The only down side was someone was hammering on the front door for half an hour at 4.30am which woke us up but will definitely stay here again. Haven’t tried the breakfast yet as it’s only 7am but I’m told it’s wonderful!"

"We had a lovely 2 night stay, the room we stayed in was a lot nicer than the pictures on the website it was really modern. Breakfast was lovely but the conservatory you sat in to dine was quite dated. Easy to find a parking space and loads of lovely restaurants on Faulkner Street which is less than 5 minutes walk away. "a recently refurbished hotel not far from the centre of Chester, lovely room with a fab shower, it’s not easy to park in front of the hotel but there are a few spaces at the back. "
