"The staff where lovely and cery helpful. The only issue i had being in room 7 was the noise ....it sounded like a generator going all night ...maybe it was the heating anyway my sleep wasnt great. Other than that it was a good stay :) "

"Second time staying at The Duke’s Head and this stay did not disappoint, although very busy was quiet and no noise could be heard from the packed bar. Staff always friendly and room clean and very comfortable bed. As this is close to family will definitely stay again. "

"I had a comfy bed. Heating was easily controlled. Very basic accommodation but had good tea/ coffee facilities. Very small shower but adequate. Seemed to be a lovely popular pub in a lovely area and a footpath were you could go for a walk but I wasnt there long enough to enjoy any of these things. There is some frequent noise from planes going to Gatwick but I took my earplugs. I would certainly stay again because I was very happy there and felt safe even though I was a lady on my own in one of...
