"The room was basic, but big. Loved the bathroom with its barn door, took me a few minutes to realize the light switches were behind the open door. Bed was very comfortable. I was surprised at how quiet the room was considering I was the end room next to a very busy road. No river view, anymore, at least from my room. Trees have grown and obscure the view, but you are minutes to the river, within walking distance of my favorite breakfast place, Egg River. In walking distance from groceries,...

"Though the furnishings and bedding was showed evidence of use (outdated), they were clean and functional."

It was also nice that they had the property nice and cool on a somewhat warm day, and the AC unit in the room was not only quiet, but performed flawlessly. Nice to also have a fridge that didn’t keep us up all night, and nearby grocery store for convenience items. We’d definitely stay here again when booking in Hood River. "

"The property looks over the Columbia River Gorge. They have spent many hours adding to the beauty. There are multiple flower gardens surrounding the property that really enhance the experience. It is not the newest property in Hood River, but is well worth the value."

"Nice hotel, would stay again but would try to confirm a balcony or patio room. The rooms with a patio or balcony with a wonderful view of the river, Our room had a partially underground view of the parking lot. This was unexpected and a bit disappointing. Thankfully, the restaurant has a lovely patio / river view, and the pool area also looks into the river. If you want to be on the river and close to town this is a great option. (it takes about 30 min to walk to the quaint shops in town) "
