"You can not find a property any closer to the ocean than this! Watch the Yellow Tangs up against the lava rocks every morning and if you’re lucky you also see spinning dolphins (we saw them twice around 7:15 am, as well as 2 years ago). I love to snorkel and you can walk 10 mins to Kahalu’u for the biggest variety of fish you will see anywhere on the island (2 steps is a 30 min drive, which I recommend, but not as varied). Two items: 1. hot tub listed in the description, but none was available 2. didn't know about the noise from the frogs (didn't bother me) but my daughter needed to get some ear plugs. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The host Ruth and her dog Buddy were very friendly and pleasant. Would stay there again."
