"We stayed one night here and we loved this hotel, very central for all attractions in York, right next to the train station. Our room was a bit small but very nice. Hotel generally is beautiful. Breakfast was nice. Would stay again."

"Friendly hotel which is a majestic building. Staff friendly and helpful. Room dated but super clean. Not keen on the pillows but i am fussy. Tasty breakfast. If you want to have an evening meal here book in advance as no availability when we checked in. Not a huge problem as plenty of places to eat in Harrogate even on a Sunday evening "

"We stayed in room 50 which was a lovely room but it was very cold at night. The only thing that was very annoying was the extractor fan in the bathroom it stayed on all night & was very noisy. It was meant to only come on when the light was on but obviously it was broken. We only realised this when we came back to our room late that night. "

"Took the wife to the parsonage hotel and spa for a valentine/birthday weekend get away and couldn’t be more happy with the service we received. The room was lovely and spacious not to mention cleaned to a high standard. The area where the hotel is situated is nice and quiet with very little noise. We will definitely be visiting again and can’t wait. "

"A very pleasant stay. Room was warm, there’s no air conditioning and the radiator had to be turned off rather than turned down due to the way the thermostat is covered. Comfortable bed, clean room, noise from the street until nearing midnight but that wasn’t a bother as we were out until late. Car park spaces narrow. Breakfast was really good but busy. Great location for exploring the city, lovely view over the river. "

"Very central property, very convenient for visiting the city. Not quite the 5* we expected but was ok for one night. Our room was down under ground level with an interesting view over gutter pipes and it was quite noisy - both from inside and outside the hotel. We only booked one night, it is unlikely we would have stayed longer than this."
