"Location was Wonderful! Room a little outdated , bed was hard, but room was clean. Right across the convent which was a plus as well as main plaza with many restaurants. "

"This was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip. The hotel is nested in the jungle of Yucatan: luscious vegetation, old ruins that witness the passage of the Mayans, a Franciscan community and an old hacienda. Is exquisitely remodelled to blend with the surroundings, with modern and airy architecture, many beautiful pools, and walkable paths. The food is amazing and healthy and the staff warm, welcoming and efficient. We have the impression that is more than a hotel: we noticed various groups of guests in yoga and meditation retreats, coexisting with tourists like us in harmony and respect. "

"This was an excellent hotel that was pristine! The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The shower pressure and hot water was the best in Mexico! The pool was clean and inviting as are the grounds. It was tranquil and close enough to town for an easy walk or ride to the center. There were even bikes to use. Definitely recommend!"

"This is the most unique stay I've ever had. It is a converted Hacienda and the rooms have names, not numbers. We stayed in Poppy, one of the large rooms on the main building. The ceilings must have been 18 feet tall and the rooms are gorgeous. There is no door between the main room and the restroom; only a curtain. The shower is enormous and beautiful, but the water pressure was low. The included breakfast was delicious, but this is in the countryside and there are critters flying around. It's also incredibly warm. There's no parking lot, only a grassy area. You have to leave the road on a side road to get here, so don't turn exactly when the GPS tells you unless you want to drive down a rocky hill. The air conditioner doesn't keep it cool to American standards. You can use the Jet mode to get a little more air out of it. I also travel with a little USB fan. There is a ceiling fan that helps a little. We would stay here again. Izamal is a lovely city. This is about 3 mile out of town. The staff were very friendly. I speak Spanish so I don't know how well they speak English. "

"Hotel was dirty, the shower area had mold. They did not have someone clean the rooms daily either. The batteries on the controllers did not work and the room I was given smelled like cigarettes "

"This place is a HIDDEN GEM!! We did three Haciendas in three days including Hacienda Xcanatun which is supposed to be a luxury stay, but doesn’t hold a candle to this place. The accommodations were amazing, super clean, pools were clean, sunbeds were clean. The food was delicious and so fresh, the grounds are stunning with so many beautiful photos ops and walks. The staff were amazing, Jesus, Dulce and Luz, gave us incredible top notch service. They had table tennis for our kids and tv rooms which were so important with an 11 and 13 yr old. They haven’t missed anything at this place, I can’t recommend enough. We cannot wait to return!! 💕"

"Hacienda Yabucu was a lovely one night stay for our family. The grounds are beautful and well kept. We enjoyed the pool and a bike ride around the area to see the monkeys etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed the experience. "
