The location is superb for seeing temples on the west side of Kyoto, and it’s always easy to get around, either via their free shuttle bus to Kyoto Station, or by nearby public transit with a few blocks’ walk. The staff offers world class hospitality. I could not have asked for a better stay. "

"The location was great and there are two coin washers and dryers that we used and appreciated after two weeks of travel. But other than those two considerations, we were disappointed.The room was tiny, but that is no surprise. The surprise was the complete lack of any effort to make the tiny space feel bigger. No hooks. No retractable drying line. No shelves on the wall.The tv did not pivot so you couldn’t lie on the bed to watch it -you had to sit on the tiny uncomfortable seat directly across...
