"It is not a hotel. Just some guy who is trying to make some money by letting out his little "apartment" if so called, in a very crowded old small lane in a cluster of old wooden houses. The Japanese guy does not show up, and can speak very little English on the phone when called. He obviously knows that his little apartment is not a hotel at all. The free car parking is a joke - metered car park on the street. I was very upset Expedia obviously did not examine the self claimed hotel at all....

"The hospitality here was on another level, staff was so sweet and lovely. Anytime we came in or out of the ryokan, they would help us take out/put away our shoes. And when we left, the staff walked us out and waited until we were out of sight to go back in! I would def come back for a longer stay next time"
