"The Copthorne was wonderful, it was warm and inviting, with helpful and supportive staff members. We only stayed the one night but will be sure to return soon. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, and the room was immaculate, with views out onto the river which were second to none. Breakfast was fresh and varied, with a good selection of food. "

"Clean, warm, quiet room with a well thought out layout which meant that even though it was small, it didn't feel cramped. In particular I liked the many shelves to put "stuff" on. Perfect for an occasional stopover, but perhaps not ideal for an extended stay."

"on arrival the room was nice on the 11th floor with views of river.we went out for a meal and arrived back about 9pm.the hotel has a bar above this floor and we heard every footstep and dancing above us and the music was as loud as if we were at the club.people were in and out of the lifts on our floor to go upstairs.there was no control with these people as they came from the street and were not guests at the hotel.so asked reception to move us.this they did thankfully. the hotel staff are really friendly and food was good.we managed to park outside which was also good."
