"The location of the hotel is amazing! The cleanliness and the upkeep is not the best so definitely bring some disinfecting wipes to clean off surfaces. For example, we had quite a few dead insects in the windowsills and on the ground, especially in the corners. The service was also exceptional! The employees were very responsive to all of our needs."

"We stayed in the cabins, and arrived the night of a pretty bad storm. Staff were very aware of the storm and suggested (due to flooding of the river) that we should park in main lot, not near our cabin due to possibly getting stuck. Cabin was laid out nicely, and furniture was comfortable. Beds were great, soft and we all slept very well. Kitchen stocked well with things needed, fridge clean. "The lodge is a beautiful property. The people all seemed very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues. Our room was apparently directly below the bar, and the noise of voices and furniture moving was so loud we could hardly talk together. I don't suppose there's anything to be done about it, and it did end by 11 pm, somewhat past the bedtime of old folks like us. The other problem is squeaky door hinges.
