"We arrived at the apartment and as per the instructions got the keys from the safe. When we entered the room it had not been cleaned from the previous guest. We contacted Phil and he said that there was nothing that he could do at this place as the maid hadn't been able to come through to clean. He did relocate us to a new accommodation not far from the place we were meant to stay. It was much appreciated however we had to make do. "Enjoyed our stay, the hotel was lovely, our queen room was perfect for what we needed for an overnight stay and hotel staff friendly and polite. We had breakfast included in our room but unfortunately we didn’t make it (overslept in the comfy bed). Only slight downside was the heat in the room, far too warm. "Walking distance from the Haymarket station. A few minutes of walk will take you to lots of dining options, Edinburgh castle and Waverly station. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were clean and spacious. Check-in and out was fast and easy. And finally, the hotel fare was very reasonable.
