"The welcome by the front of the house staff was superb. Very friendly and helpful and gave excellent recommendations for local restaurants and cafes. Booking in was quick and efficient. Room was lovely. Fabulous hot shower. Walking distance 5 /10 minutes to John Lewis which you can see from the hotel. 10 minute walk to Central station. Lots of cafes/restaurants/bars close by. We had a drink in the hotel bar which is very nice decor. Prices reasonable for a hotel. The bar staff were miserable and not friendly. At 9pm staff started setting the bar area up for breakfast which did not do anything for the relaxing atmosphere. Apart from this the hotel is wonderful and I would definitely recommend. "
