No instructions to operate the safe. 2 nails still in the wall. TV remote sometimes transmits the wrong signal. Mattresses are totally shot - more than a bit hammock shaped. Significant lower back pain several times per night. High school across the street. Looks like an old jail. Rooster across the corner. Drug dealers and beggars right down the street, next to the big hotel. At breakfast: served a fruit smoothy. Asked where the ice came from. Lies told about safety. 22 hours later, water poisoning. Then, a series of denials, delays, and discussions (lies) with, many staff. No on-site filtration going on. Ice is delivered from a large local company in shockingly cheap thin plastic generic shopping bags. Grab the handles of the bag, tie a knot, and hope for the best. Hotel staff make no sanitary effort regarding ice storage/handling. Bags are stored in a little freezer, with a platter of (sometimes) dirty dishes sitting on top. No dedicated ice scoop. No gloves to handle ice - nothing. Outdoor, all day. Conversations with staff were a joke. Suggested that there is no PROOF I was poisoned. Their idea of compensation: free dinner, in their restaurant - where I was poisoned. As if I could eat.
If this happens to you, get them to immediately agree on an amount for your refund - and to process it BEFORE you leave/check out. If you let them put you off, that the manager has to 'talk with the owners first', kiss it goodbye. Once you leave the premises, you are dead to them.
