The house keeping went above and beyond for our anniversary with swan folded towels and flowers with hearts on our bed, complimentary drinks and wine with dinner! Taxi arrangement to and from by staff was a big plus. Would recommend this lovely hotel to all!"

"It is a very nice property. Unfortunately there was only one sheet and the air was very cold, so I had bad nights, and turning up the temperature was risking mosquito bites. The mosquito net is not appropriate for the size of the bed. The bed needs a good adjustment and it makes a hard sound every time you move or sit down. We understand that the water pressure may be low, but bathing took longer than usual, however it was warm which contrasted with the cold air in that room. Apart from...

"Lovely old rustic hotel. Great for over night stay before catching the ferry. Great downtown location on the Main Street, right in the centre of the market area. Roof top restaurant breakfast was excellent. Basil’s restaurant, on the ground floor served lovely well prepared and presented food. We had curry conch and catch of the day - excellent."

Upon arrival and throughout our stay, Mandarin's hotel staff exceeded our expectations. There is plenty to do on the premises and the food was excellent.
