"Mooi en nieuw chalet. Was brandschoon en aangenaam warm. Uitzicht is prachtig, zeker tijdens het ochtendgloren. We zaten in 10A. Hottub was koud bij aankomst en pas op temperatuur aan het einde van de avond. We hadden ook geen warm water. De volgende ochtend was alles warm. "

"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

"Maybe one of our favorite places. Enough space for 5 of us. Very clean and neat and just enough furniture. Great hot tub with views. There were not very many food places nearby but we drove out for dinner. The kitchen was great too if you’d like to cook. Great sleep. Nice windows everywhere. "

"A perfect location for the golden circle and stunning views. The cottage is warm and cozy with everything you could possibly need. We were able to cook a variety of meals, stopping at a supermarket en route. A very comfortable bed and good shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and had the added bonus of being treated to the aurora. "

"This cabin is a wonderful property. It is very private and feels like a home. We split time between relaxing at the cabin and touring the area. When spending time at the cabin, we didn’t feel as if we were missing anything as we would have if we were in a hotel room. "INCREDIBLE! thats all thats needed to explain this cabin! Secluded in the middle of no where, located minutes from strokkur and gullfoss. If you plan on driving yourself this is the place to stay. Its centrally located for all of the main attractions. This is the place for those wanting to explore and be off the beaten track it truly is incredible "

"The property was nice, and we enjoyed the hot tub and the entrance from the hot tub to the bathroom. We felt there was good privacy, and the setting was nice for viewing the aurora (too bad we had heavy cloud cover while we were there). The property recommended a couple restaurants that were near-by and we loved Mika! "

"The property was very comfortable, private, and modern. We loved the kitchen, the outdoor grill, and the outdoor dining area — it had everything we needed and more. We did have some minor communication issues with the owners and had to look at youtube videos to figure out how to use the door lock/fob. " We had a wonderful stay at Bjork Guesthouse from April 11 to 12. The communication with one of the owners, Alexander, was fantastic. He was responsive and answered all of my questions promptly, providing valuable guidance on where to go and look for the northern lights. The room we stayed in was very spacious, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the location was convenient for our next stop, making our travel plans seamless. Overall, I highly recommend Bjork Guesthouse for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay in South Iceland. Lovely place in a lovely location

"Very clean and spacious room, even though I booked a single room. Bathroom was lovely, lovely shower, and local Icelandic shower gel which smells incredible! Great coffee/tea machine that you can help yourself to 24/7, great for those times when you need to be awake at 2am for an Aurora run. Lovely views of Laugarvatn lake and beautiful mountains on the other side. Great location in the golden circle close to Friðheimar tomato farm, Þingvellir national park, Geysir and Brúarfoss to name a few. Few minutes walk to the lovely Laugarvatn Fontana geothermal baths. Would stay again. "

"This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very nicely appointed and relatively large. The room we had has a view of the Geysers (well, the steam clouds) across the road. Being directly across from the Geysers is nice because you can tour the geysers for a few hours before the tour busses arrive. The food service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room and was great. We also had dinner at the hotel. The dinner menu is limited but what we had was very good, but a bit pricy. There is no other dining options unless you want to take a significant drive."
