"The house was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub was amazing to watch the northern lights even in winter and the sauna was an added bonus. The location is great for seeing lots of great sights on the golden circle. We rented a car and toured the southern coast as well as Reykjavík. Listing is as described. The owner sends a full guide to the home and the area which is so helpful. He even gives his cell number for urgent matters. Highly recommend!"

"11 of us stayed at the house which more than met our needs. Communicating with our host was very easy and she was prompt with her replies. We had enough room so we could have our space or play games at the table. This was a very good find and highly recommended."

"This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. There looked like there was a vegetable stand around the corner but we didn’t end up needing to stop. We did two day trips...

"Great base for rafting, horseback riding, all of the Golden Circle activities. The house itself was absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of the river. The hosts were very kind, particularly when we couldn't locate the key box upon arrival. We'd love to stay here again on a future trip to Iceland! "

Everyone raved about the comfortable beds and bedding. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked. It was a pleasure to cook meals for a big crowd.
