Bedroom smells like new. Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. The sink is small and if you need room service you need to let the staff know. Easy self check-in, comfortable beds and conveniently located near a grocery store, gas station and some local restaurants.

Easy access to Thingvellir park. Very small room with a very small bathroom. Have to go to front desk for a hairdryer. A good budget option for those looking for a hotel in close proximity to one of the parks.

We only stayed there for one night. The staff was super helpful. Property is basic with right level of comfort. There was some weird smell in the bathroom though. Breakfast is good too.

Clean facilities, the area we were in seems recently renovated. Mostly friendly staff. But room is very small. I am a small person and was cramped in the room and especially in the bathroom - I wondered how taller people could sit on the toilet. Also, no TV, fridge, or kettle in room though coffee, tea, water available in dining room. Overall given the size and minimal amenities, I thought value for the price is on lower side.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this place. The location is perfect, situated conveniently between major sites, making it easy to explore the area. The host is great and very friendly, and the staff is lovely and welcoming. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and parking right outside was a plus. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a few additional room comforts would have made it even better. Some hangers or hooks for clothes, as well as a hairdryer and kettle in the room, would be great additions. Overall, we strongly recommend this place to everyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay with friendly hosts and a great location!

This hotel is a great spot to see the Northern Lights. We were fortunate to see a glimpse of it during our stay. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was good, but could definitely have more options. Overall, clean, quiet and plenty of parking.

The stay overall was as required for a safe & clean night’s stay, however, I would caution that this is for the bare necessities only and no bells & whistles. There is definitely a need for improvement in terms of space (i.e. little to no room for luggage, toiletries in the bathroom, and even using the toilet is quite restricted). From a food perspective, breakfast, unlike all of my other stays in Iceland, is not included in the room costs. It is an additional 2400 ISK (24 CAD) for a cold breakfast, which, upon the opening of the restaurant at 730AM, there were not even any staff to greet or seat guests. We saw several other groups leave because of that, as well. But if you’re just looking for a place to sleep & shower, it is at the very least a step up from a campground.

Nice staff. Hotel is clean, well maintained, with poorly appointed rooms. They are updated, but so small. You get a bed, 2 night tables, and a chair. The bathroom is extremely tight and no place to put anything. We had a fine time.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. We appreciated how easy it was to walk from the hotel to the geothermal baths. The view from the dining window is beautiful.

We got upgraded to the newer part of the hotel and it was fantastic. It was so beautiful. It was clean and beautiful. Check in was a breeze and Philip was amazing. We got the lake view and it was fabulous. No free breakfast or kitchenette for heating up water but it was still amazing.
