"Very pleased with Hanmer Springs and this lovely old hotel. Ground floor room with a patio. Room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was tight and with the toilet a tight space behind the door … probably impossible a fit for obese people. A very nice pool and walks around the grounds. We ate in and were very pleased with the range of wines and beers. In particular we were very impressed with our meals of Lamb shank & Belly pork. The continental breakfast was fine and plentiful and certainly a good start to the day. Hanmer Springs Hotel is central to a spectacular resort and we were glad we booked it"

"Lovely place to stay. Sophie was very accommodating and helpful on our cycling adventure allowing us to wash our bikes and providing buckets and rags to make the job easier. We had a lovely relaxing time and would recommend staying here. "
