"We loved our stay here, and being frequent travellers we have experienced good and bad. The Manager was exceptional and couldnt do enough to help us as we had a large trailer. Staff were very pleasant, great location with only a short walk to restaurants and pools. Rooms very clean and comfortable. We'll be back again for sure"

"Without doubt this is the most luxurious experience I've ever had. My husband and I had two wonderful nights at Rippinvale Retreat in Hanmer Springs. From our arrival when there was home made baking, to wine and canapés at 6pm to chocolates on our pillow at night, our hosts Helen and John, couldn't have made us feel more welcome. "Our stay at Braemar Lodge was definitely a highlight on our tour. The spacious room, the cosy gazfire, the great view and private spa were a real treat. We had room service and the food was very good too. Staff is a little scarce. Also the spa treatments were not available on Wednesday. But we loved the place and will definitely be back on our next visit to New Zealand. Then for a longer stay. "

"The motel was well maintained, simple and comfortable motel. The lady in the reception was very helpful and friendly, and she even let us check in a little bit earlier. The location of the motel is great, a short walking distance to the thermal pools and the motel even offered us two towels to take to the pools."
