Treehouse near Bar Harbor. Luxurious and private!

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (56)
"Very cozy and private cabin. The bathroom has amenities that make it feel like a little spa. Outside deck space and fire pit is nice. Lots of different spaces and rooms. It's about 20-30 min to Acadia depending on the traffic. I would recommend this place to anyone, except for someone who has difficulty using stairs. We would go back."

BEAUTIFUL, FULLY RENOVATED OCEANFRONT COTTAGE WITH AMAZING VIEWS

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (93)
"We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet peaceful cottage, and our puppy was in heaven with so much space to run around. The location is convenient to many great restaurants and stores, and Acadia National Park is less than an hour away. The cottage itself had everything we needed (particularly loved the gorgeous views of the water, and the luxurious shower after long days of hiking:). Cora is an amazing host - very responsive whenever we had a question, and she gave excellent recommendations on...

"My husband and I, along with our dog, enjoyed a three day stay at this terrific property in Hancock Maine. The house is ideally situated a short drive to Ellsworth, and a half-hour drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It is at the end of a long driveway and surrounded by grass and lush forest. Our dog loved the yard! The house itself is very comfortable and well appointed, with everything required to make a stay complete."

Peaceful vacation home with stunning ocean views and private woods

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (15)
"My family of 4 and dog enjoyed staying here. The house was a bit dated but that added to the charm. The scenery is gorgeous from most of the rooms (if you are exploring the neighborhood please stay off the land across the street -it's private property!) The location was ~45 minutes from Acadia National Park and 10-15 minutes from Ellsworth. Check-in was easy and Jamie was a great host. "

Waterfront, heated, beach 2 minutes, sunrise, waterview, pets, dock, Wharf House

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (60)
"This house was in a great scenic location in a quiet neighborhood on the water. It was about 40 minutes to Bar Harbor/Acadia, but the scenic location made the distance worth it. The house was generally well-equipped for our needs. Reliable high-speed internet was also a plus. Unfortunately, the house had a pretty bad housefly problem, especially in the upstairs bathroom. The property managers promptly responded with fly traps when we alerted them to the problem, but it didn't make much of a...
