"My friend and our two 13-year olds needed a place with enough beds (this was perfect - the boys got the two twin beds), within walking distance of downtown (about 2 miles) and somewhere safe so the boys could wander around without us. "It’s definitely an old house as are most in Chico. The location was everything, only a 5 minute walk to the bars in downtown. Didn’t have to take a single uber which was nice. It had a big back yard with a nice set up. Beds weren’t super comfortable but weren’t bad either. It did say there was a washer and dryer when there wasn’t one but that’s okay. "Definitely a retro feel in an older neighborhood but a well built, well loved house. It was very comfortable and well equipped. Loved the landscaping and the hot tub. Would have loved the pool but it was too cold to get in. Would definitely stay there again. "

"We had a wonderful experience staying at this home during our visit to Chico. The house was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family with teens. Its location just outside the downtown area made it convenient for touring the university. The neighborhood was quiet and full of charming. The host was friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout our stay. We’d absolutely consider staying here again on any future trips."

"Stayed here with my grown children and their families. There was plenty of room for all of us. Looked like a very nice outdoor area but due to weather we were limited to inside ... but didn't feel cramped at all. Coffee wasn't provided, but Bidwell Perk was close by. Would stay here again."

"It was a beautiful outdoor property but the roof leaked downstairs from the jet tub so wasn't the first time because of the rusty water that was leaking they said they had a family crib but didn't out that it had to be requested and told us we won't get one i would be cautious of them "
