"The room was comfortable, the breakfasts varied and delicious. We hired hotel bikes for 24 hours for €14 each. All staff (except one man) were friendly and helpful. It was next to lovely St Michaelis church and walking distance to centre and docks. I would recommend this hotel."

"Stayed here for a long weekend. Straightforward check in process. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Only thing that let the room down was no tea/coffee making facilities. Due to the hotels location there are quite a few street beggars around outside and it can be quite noisy but this didn’t affect our sleep or stay in the hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice to eat and drink. "

The location was fabulous, we walked everywhere but had easy access to the underground trains - especially good as we were on the line that took us directly from the airport within 30 minutes. "The property is closer to the main attractions of Hamburg. If you are travelling as a family (with kids), keep in mind that the rooms are pretty small and the size of the bed is also small."
