There are nicer areas of Hamburg but the street with Hnsehof on was quieter than some nearby noisy streets. Plenty of local restaurants and easy access to the Elbe tunnel

Reviews gave this property a ‘wonderful.’ It’s not. The bed was really uncomfortable and I had to figure out where to sleep based on the springs. Overall, the property was fine. It’s about what you would expect for this price point, which works for a lot of people, but wonderful it is not.

Great breakfast, clean, no noise from the strevet, centrally located, great value. Beds a bit hard, could do with a mattress topper, but fine for a couple of nights.

Okay, but would not go back.
When we arrived, a lovely lady was at the reception and was very helpful and kind. The service was also okay on the other days. The most odd experience was their rule to leave your keys at the reception whenever you left the hotel and ask for them back when you wanted to enter your room. I’m sure the intentions for this are good, but I would recommend the staff to reconsider this policy in regard to the feeling of safety, especially for two young women in a room. It did not make me feel very safe having to say our room number out multiple times a day, in front of other guests, staff, and whoever, with no verification necessary when new staff were working. Our room was very small, and the cleanliness and state of the interior and furniture were nothing to be impressed by. Our bathroom door could barely close. Furthermore, you could hear neighbors very clearly in their rooms and hallway, which was not very nice. The facilities were okay considering the price, but I definitely won't be going back or recommending it to others.

Alles soweit wie immer. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, nichts besonderes. Gut gelegen, nahe St.Pauli Stadion, dem Park, der Reeperbahn. Für die Sauberkeit der Umgebung kann das Hotel nichts, wird allerdings von Jahr zu Jahr schlechter.

Kleines Hotel mit gutem Service und Frühstück. Obwohl in einer Parallelstraße zur Reeperbahn sehr ruhig dank guter Fenster. Man braucht keinen 4 bis 5 Sterne Tempel für einen Kurztrip nach Hamburg.
