"We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. "It was a nice room, tastefully decorated. Comfy bed, clean white bedding. Nice clean white towels. Great pressure from the shower head, plenty of hot water. Radiators were on when I arrived, so lovely and warm in the room. Fridge, microwave, utensils, breakfast bar with tall stools. TV all good."
