The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "The Lyndhurst was perfect for our stay as we just needed a room while visiting family. The location is perfect if you want to be super central and walking distance from the beach and attractions. The room itself was small but big enough to fit everything you need in it. Its was decorated nicely and comfortable. "

"We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up.
