"The staff was attentive and helpful to our needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The game tours are amazing and I enjoyed seeing some of the big 5! I do recommended doing an afternoon tour as well as an all day tour. The food options were ok enjoyed breakfast more than dinner. The resort is wonderful and I was able to see a Hurd of elephants by the pool before sunset. I would recommend this place to others and stay here again if I am in Kruger! "

"Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....

"I booked a Deluxe Quadruple Room, (2 Bedrooms 2 Queen Beds Room for 4 guests (up to 3 children), but surprisingly i was taken to a double room. Not sure why i was taken to a double room when it was not booked. This was the second time i stayed as the 1st time was very pleasant. unfortunately the situation has changed within a period of one month and did not feel the same level of hospitality. it was an ideal stopover guest house for us but having doubts now to stay again. "We first stayed at Bongani Mountain Lodge 15 years ago and returned when we saw it on special over new year. Not much has changed in 15 years. We had a nice time - the food was good and our ranger and tracker were pleasant and informative. I would not rate this lodge as luxury.
