"Overnight stay - arrived after lunch and left before 10am. Pools were too cold to swim but looked great with lots of communal areas and fun things for kids. Restaurant closed on Tuesdays - so we walked to the nearest bar and had a few ice cold beers and 'fast food' for next to nothing. Restaurant open for breakfast - excellent service, food quality and price - we had a pancake stack (flapjacks as they call them) - delicious. "The actual hotel is really very good and the rooms are outstanding. Nice grounds, nice pool and the food was also of a decent quality. Now on a road trip around South Africa, you get used to warnings about safety and taking care of belongings. Here we were welcomed with a lengthy delivery on all the steps the hotel was taking and what in turn we needed to do, which even by SA standards appeared a bit alarming, so made you think the surrounding area must be a huge 'worry'. "Unique property for an overnight stay. Enjoyed the extra touches especially the hot water bottles for a cold African night. We were able to leave our bags safely prior to check in while we went to the Cape, then our room became available so we had an unexpected early check in which was above and beyond. Thank you!"

"Such a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Comfiest bed of our holiday so far too! Highly recommend the sundowner game drive and dinner, Elton is so knowledgeable abour everything! and he is a natural storyteller. The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the property too. Highly recommend staying here. "
