Somerset House is near enough to walk to seaside and promenade and close to station for days out. Would recommend for a pleasant short break :-)"

Excellent shops on the doorstep, easy access to the promenade and South Lakeland attractions a short drive away. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room had some minor maintenance that needed attention such as the extractor fan not working and there were no curtains (just a somewhat worn blind).
