"Thhey utilize their space well. We stayed in a hub. We opted for the lower bunk. Just the right space that we need to sleep. They have outdoor hot tub. They have a common room where they have ice machine, fridge and microwave. They have self-serve bar and vending machines in the property. It's witing walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, souvenir stores, cafe’s, small groceries. You'll need to drive to other places. There are buses around too. There are options for parking, and we used a parking garage a block away."

The on-site restaurant also served one of the best dinners I had in Iceland, with local specialties like Arctic char and lamb, all beautifully presented. Service was courteous and warm, and the staff made every effort to ensure guests were comfortable and well taken care of. It felt both luxurious and personal, which is a rare combination. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, and upscale stay in South Iceland — especially if you want to experience the Northern Lights in comfort — I highly recommend Hotel Grímsborgir. I would gladly stay here again."

"Lovely room, nice decor and furniture and a decent size. Wifi was very good. Kettle in the room but there was a sign saying no cooking so I presume that means you can't use the kettle for making noodles. There is a grocery shop just behind the hotel which was very convenient. In front of the hotel is the seafront which was very nice."
