Cottages in Westfjords

"A great tiny cottage on a working farm. There are 6 cottages available each with a small private deck. We could go out at various hours to watch the northern lights without disturbing others. There is no TV but we had wifi and the amazing scenery to keep us occupied. The owner was helpful and breakfast great. Dinner is provided if requested in advance. Highly recommend. Cozy is the best word to describe it."

"If you are looking for a remote location in the Westfjords with an amazing view, this is the place. The view from the living/dining room overlooking Vatnsfjordur and the Atlantic Ocean is serene and can't be beat for beauty. The location is very quiet with very little car traffic. You have to travel 45 minutes to the nearest town, but there is a hotel within a couple of miles with a gas pump and a good restaurant. "Overall had a great stay. The beds were comfortable and the campground was easy to find. Only half the hotplate worked, but we were able to manage just fine. Tge scebery was wonderful and it was very quiet"
