"I just stayed here 2 weeks. The property was deceiving from the pictures. Not exactly the quality portrayed. The place could use some updates. The breakfast spread was really good but was crowded if you don’t get there early. I recommend being early and you won’t be disappointed. The cleaning staff was very unfortunate. I know different staff clean different rooms so I can’t speak for all. The cleanliness of the over all hotel was good. The surrounding area was to be expected. I came to Brazil...

"After a long haul flight arrived at the hotel at 8am but check in was not available. Staff said come at 12pm and then 2pm but check in was done at 3pm. Staff not very helpful. Did not respond to emails before arrival date. Hotel is on a busy noisy street, windows are not double glazed. No coffee or tea facilities in room. Limited hangers. Overall hotel was basic quality. Hotel was in a good location. Breakfast had a good choice."

Excellent breakfast, clean interior, my room was cleaned every day, towels changed. Bath gowns. Toiletries. Friendly, helpful staff. Good TV menu. Gym available, Beach towel. "

"Ipanema Inn is at a perfect location between the beach and all the shops and restaurants of Rio. Staff here are amazing and thoughtful. The food and drinks are top notch. Highly recommend! "
