"We stayed at this property for two nights in July 2024. Tahoe had been experiencing a heat wave, so I wanted to cancel a week before arriving. Karen (the owner) made it clear that wasn't allowed. This property doesn't have air conditioning and is very old and dated. In our particular townhouse the sink in the bathroom didn't drain well, upstairs floor is very noisy when walked on, rooms did get very warm and uncomfortable despite the 70 degree weather. The street noise was annoying as big trucks...

"The room itself is a pretty small studio but has everything you’d need if you’re planning on mainly eating out in the village instead of cooking (and has enough to get by if you want to cook a couple small meals). The building has somewhat thin walls, but the noise wasn’t much of a problem since people didn’t seem to stay up too late. "The facilities are a bit dated, but the location, view and staff make up for it. A nice place to stay for a short trip with family. Plenty of space and close to restaurants, lake and Heavenly."
