"Had a great stay all the staff were great. We had an upgrade to a suite what was very nice of them. The location was lovely and allowed easy travel to all places. Overall would recommend hotel to anyone, I would also gladly return to this hotel. "

"For a 4 star hotel i would say that the quality of room furnishing was below par and the bathroom definitely needed a refurb. However the location , with a great sea side saltwater pool, and only 15-20 minute easy walk to Funchal old town, was excellent and made the hotel excellent value for money, overall, at the price. Also great breakfast with full range of choices and lovely staff. A good mid-range choice and we would probably choose it for a future visit."

"The most serene and relaxing hotel I’ve visited! The gardens surrounding the hotel are gorgeous and the food at the restaurant it absolutely delicious! Rooms are spacious with a huge tub to relax in and a firm bed. I would come back in an instant!"

"Lovely quiet hotel in Machico, short walking distance to the sea front. I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were very helpful with an issue I had with my passport and helping with my luggage while I went Scuba diving after check out."

"Hotel is very stylish and modern, with a central location for coastline, bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar and pool has fantastic views over the area. All areas of the hotel are spotless. We didn't use the spa, so no comments on that. Breakfast was great, lots of choice, both hot and cold. Room was nice, but (small gripe)would have liked bedside tables and charging points there. "Overall a pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious. If you get a room facing the street and taxi stand it will be noisy at night as there are vars and restaurants across the street. The front desk staff are helpful. Breakfast gets very busy after 830 am and the tables aren't cleared fast enough and glasses and bowls need to be replenished often.
