"Lovely characterful property, with nice lounge and dining area, well equipped kitchen & private outside space which was a great suntrap, just off the kitchen. The apartment is in the basement of the main house, which is set in a private gated garden so secure. "Loved this apartment! Amazing views from the balcony including the sunset, and the only noise is the sounds of the waves from the beach below. Apartment is kitted out with all the amenities you could want and gets extra points for the shower being high enough for my husband (it's rare!) and great water pressure. Marco gave us a great welcome and a lift to the supermarket which was really appreciated. Can't recommend enough!"

"We enjoyed staying in this condo. It was conveniently located so that we could walk to wonderful dinners every evening. We also were able to go on some beautiful walks from the condo. Had a couple issues getting settled in the condo (with WIFI, etc) but we were able to get it all figured out. Would have been nice to have manuals in English for hot tub, washing machine and other appliances. Also would have been nice to have more than one set of towels for a weekly stay. "Fantastic property that met and exceeded all our expectations. Spacious, stylish and very comfortable. Martin was very helpful, remotely giving us plenty of tips and advice on things to do, where to eat etc. Rosa was a phone call away locally to make sure our stay went smoothly. There was plenty to do locally especially if you wanted to experience the island's incredible nature. The local contemporary art museum - Casa das Mudas - was a brilliant discovery on a rainy day too. We look forward...

"The apartment wasn't as described - it was better! The location was perfect - out of the city, but close enough to get there quick. A large balcony and view to die for, Plus another large balcony and views from the kitchen. It was the most well equipped place I had stayed in ever, complete with a clothesline and pegs to hang washing for longer stays.The apartment was huge and comfortably slept all 3 of my teenage children. I would definitley recommend."

"Property is very characterful with great views. We very much liked the area being a little away from the main tourist zones but we like to walk. Hosts and staff all very lovely and helpful. We were two floors up via a metal exterior spiral staircase, we rather liked it and it is well mentioned in the advert but it would not be suitable for everyone. "Ana is a very nice person. Even though I only speak Chinese, she was very friendly and patient in sharing with me places worth visiting in Madeira. The house is very beautiful and clean. Although the location is a bit far from the city, there are many places worth exploring in Madeira. I think this is not a problem at all if you drive by yourself. In short, I recommend Anna’s house."
