"Very good stay"

"Peaceful outside York with easy bus transport links. Lovely grounds and building aesthetically pleasing. Fat Abbot food good and lively ambience. Spa area good, bit dated but more than acceptable for inclusion in the hotel rate. Oldy worldy inside but had that "fusty" smell in the lounges. Staff were very busy with reception/bar area unmanned at various times. Would still recommend and revisit."

"The receptionists and related staff were very accommodating! One staff member, Frank, was exceptionally kind, took an interest of where we were from in the U.S.A. and shared info about York. Food was great, comfy bed and great shower! Staff was 10 out of 10!!"

"Judges Court is central York so very accessible by walking locally to major sights. Hotel staff extremely friendly and held bag before check in time so made exploring very easy. "
