"The hotel is extremely spacious, super clean and has all the household needs. More importantly, the owner couple is very nice! "The property exceeded my expectations. The only complaint I have is that some of the entries in their complementary guidebook led to some wasted time due to inaccuracies. I would definitely go to this accomodation again but I hope by then they have updated their book. Also there's the apparent fact that no public onsen seem to be in the area, so you should probably plan for going to hakone yamoto (hope I spelled that right) to get access to those. There actually is a small public one near this...

"Beautiful property, the host will wait for you to check-in even if you encounter delays on your journey up to Kawaguchiko. The cottages were extremely clean and cozy, with a small soaking tub right outside of the bathroom. "They provide an amazing pick-up service with one caveat; they sent the WRONG PHONE NUMBER to call. (The correct number is able to be found on the internet easily, I am just not very smart) When you call the number they send, it tells you the number doesn't exist. I had to take a bus up to the place, and then walk uphill in the dark with my luggage for about 20 minutes. "A great location right on the lake in Hakone. Although it looked to be fully booked we did not see other guests and it was lovely and peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights and were fortunate to see Mt Fuji for two days of our stay. The onsen in the room was amazing, we used it twice a day or more, so relaxing.
