"Couldn't ask for a better location, total solitude to watch the tide go in and out, the eagles overhead and the stars at night by the ocean's edge. "We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. "My family had a wonderful stay in this house. Between hiking in the Schoodic Peninsula, visiting Bar Harbor, and soaking up the view from Cadillac Mountain, we loved swinging on the porch swing, having coffee on the front porch, and relaxing around the dinner table. The house is recently renovated, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts are invested in your stay and very responsive to any messages you send. "Location is absolutely perfect and the home is exceptional. The sunrise over the water is gorgeous. It’s the most well appointed home I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a great home with ALL of the amenities you have in your own home. The kitchen has everything you need and there are cozy afghans, comfy beds and sofas, and lots of space!
