"This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. "

"The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia."

"Our grown children who live in neighboring states met us in Maine for a long weekend together. The house has lots of vintage charm and a welcoming soul. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were the perfect size for our group. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. "This cabin was absolutely fantastic for our first trip to Maine !!! It was SOOO off the beaten path, with excellent ridiculously close access to the fishing dock (which we used and caught many fish) and kayak-launching shoreline (which we didn't have time to use). The cabin and interior are super dated (think 70's), but also immaculately clean (we went barefoot and never felt a speck of dust) so it was absolutely charming! I loved seeing games/activities/posters/ utensils from my childhood...

"The unit was modern, extremely clean. Community fire pits stocked with plenty of wood just bring your own marshmallows 😎. We loved the communication. We received a welcome text the day before our visit and a text the day of our visit with the room code so there was no check in required. "

"Wonderful camp, just magnificent views of the pond. The road was tough (unpaved), but it was so quiet. Again we went in October. Inside was very clean and nice, just like the photos they had on the website. We took drive to Bar Harbor very nice 👌 "
