"The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

"We stayed for almost three weeks in this apartment. We had friends stay with us for one week and family for the second week. The apartment is convenient for touring Florence. We walked everywhere with our furthest walk about 30 minutes. Being in the Oltrarno was especially nice since it was a quiet respite from the crowds in the center.
