"We were a group of 10 that stayed here for 4 days. We ranged in age from 19 to 72. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the views, the quiet, the pool and the ability to spread out and not feel cramped. The Villa is about 15 minutes from the train station, so a day trip to Florence was no problem. Some of the more adventurous even took the train to Cinque a Terra. "The best features of this villa are its outside spaces and fantastic views. We had a great week with wonderful weather and really made the most of being in this stunning location. The villa is up a bumpy dusty track, but once you get used to that, it is quick and easy to get to Castellina in Chianti for provisions, and there is even a great winery and beautiful restaurant at the bottom of the track in Fonterutoli itself - a definite highlight for us. "This was an interesting stay based on the age of the property. Roberto was very helpful. He made reservations for us, checked train schedules etc. If you require wifi this may not be a good choice for you as it was not readily available. Otherwise this historical property was good. It was not easy to find so be prepared to call for good directions."

"Beautiful, comfortable and spacious apartment. Very central - so close to Il Campo and the Duomo and restaurants and cafes. Great communications. Good facilities. Fab air conditioning which we really needed. Only issue was the back shower which trickled from the top shower but the other shower was decent. We had a lovely stay at Palazzo Nannini and look forward to returning. Highly recommend."
