"I love the location and the suite we stayed in."

"We recently here for a short bday weekend and I can say that I am very impressed. The location is very convenient to local stores, malls, and pharmacies. The room was very spacious and clean maybe a little outdated like the rugs and the wallpaper the bathrooms were peeling off but besides that, we had a great view and my girls enjoyed it. I went to the spa downstairs and had a massage and I was so pleased with it that I booked a facial for the next day. The massage was by far the best I ever had. The facial I was a bit disappointed with. I felt like it was her first day on the job. besides that, the food and service were great by the poolside. The drinks were on point. And the gym was clean and empty every time I went. I did not try the restaurants inside but maybe next time I will. The moment we stepped into the hotel it smelled very refreshing and clean. The towels didn't smell. There was a service charge that I was unaware of $45 daily that they charged me once I checked out. The spa also included a tip charge that I was unaware of and minor extra fees. My massage was $175 but I walked out spending $280! Don't know how or why! So just be aware of the little fees they add on with telling you. "

"Stayed 1 night prior to a cruise. Driver that picked us up at the airport was great. Check in staff kind and efficient. Neighborhood is walkable evolving into a more traveler oriented area but other than hotels not a lot of restaurants at this time. There was a very good seafood restaurant across the street. I would book again if travel takes me back to Fort Lauderdale. "
