READ THIS REVIEW **BEFORE YOU MAKE A RESERVATION! Very important! Bug infestation at Costa Hollywood Resort Today makes a week since I checked out of this hotel. In full transparency, I have stayed at this property before (Nov 2023) which is why I decided to return. However, on the first night of my stay on this visit - I discovered ‘that evening’ that the kitchen was swarming with bugs. Dozens of bugs…all over EVERYTHING…the groceries I had just had delivered that same day; the paper products, bottles of water, and beverages. I had also had just returned to the room with dinner. EVERYTHING had to be trashed! The kitchen was infested with bugs and it appeared that the food brought them out! It was disturbing and disgusting! I called front desk and imagine my utter shock that there was no manager nor supervisor on duty nor on call. I was told to send an email. Really?? To further this point…. there was no management there on Sunday, Monday nor Tuesday. Staff tried their best to make things right but no one had any answers or authority. I had/have video footage on my phone and no one has requested it….so I’ve provided still pictures. Isn’t that irresponsible to not want to see this footage??? This was a horrible and nightmare of a situation…that kept getting worse. No one even had the decency to call me and apologize directly and I am disappointed and disheartened about how guests are treated when there’s such a huge impact on their stay at their property.

Resort fees and valet parking ended up being almost as much as the room cost. Expedias site stated that fees were included, and then we were git with a nearly $500 bill upon checkout. Nice rooftop pool.

The property was well kept, and the room we had had great views of the beach with a nice size balcony. There was plenty to do on the boardwalk and the beach chairs included for 2 was a great touch. The room came with all the essentials you would need for making a breakfast, lunch or dinner if you did not want to go out for a meal. We had a great 5 night stay. The only thing I have to say was a downfall was there was no parking other than valet for $44 a day. Valet was quick, so that made it worth the $$.

The Costa is close to the beach and offers many amenities. The staff was friendly and they checked with us in the middle of our trip to make sure we didn’t need anything additional. I’ve never had a hotel actually follow up during a stay. The room was huge and had a full kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable. Furnishings were dated and need to be replaced. The room wasn’t cosey and was sparsely decorated.

Very very nice hotel! Super clean and at a very good location near the beach and lots of Resturant’s nearby. You don’t even need a car, everything is walking distance from the hotel from food, to beach. Rooftop pool and jacuzzi is very nice and big. We loved this hotel, will definitely be back. Polina at the front desk is super nice, big shoutout to her!

I rarely leave reviews but my wife and I loved our stay here. Note parking for the entire beach stinks so if you don’t want to valet there’s a lot a couple of streets over behind a liquor store that has overnight for $30 on weekends and $20 on week nights. The location was great and also loved it included beach chairs, towels and bike rental. The rooftop pool and bar/restaurant are spectacular with great views. Highly recommend, if we come back to Hollywood beach we will stay here.

The rooms at the hotel are spacious and clean while the walk to the beach is short. The boardwalk is adjacent to the hotel. We arrived early, so our room was not available. The staff is a bit aloof with very little interaction. Some people may prefer this; however, I like warmness.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality-price ratio of this property. The room was very spacious, the location is great as it is just a block away from the beach, and there are many great restaurants in the area. My only minor complaint is regarding the smell in the room - it smelled like how clothes smell if you left them in the washer for a long time. It was not an overpowering smell, but it it was certainly noticeable. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a convenient and affordable lodging option!
