"We stayed in the cottage at Tovey Lodge. It was very dated, which was fine, but it was also worn out. The sofa bed needs replacing due to peeling material and the mattress on this was so thin there is no way an adult could sleep on there. Luckily our 7 year old can sleep anywhere. The main bed was uncomfortable with a too small mattress topper which didn't reach the edges and because of this we only stayed for two of the three nights we had booked as we needed sleep. "This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"A very pleasant long weekend at North Lodge. Location is peaceful but well located, plenty of amenities nearby. The house is cute and full of character. The kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space with patio doors out to the pretty little garden with mature shrubs and seating area. The kitchen is very well appointed. "This lovely cottage proved the ideal venue for our family to get together for a special birthday celebration. Plenty of room for 6 adults, and we appreciated the large dining table. Whole property immaculately clean and equipped with everything we could have wished for. Beautifully furnished and very warm and cosy for an old cottage. Wish it had been summer to take advantage of the lovely garden too! Plenty of places to visit and explore nearby."
