"We thoroughly loved our week stay here. Everything on the island was in easy access and a short 1.5 km walk you were in the centre of Ribeiro Grande. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The highlight for us was Marion’s hospitality which began with a guided 30 min tour of the village to orient us. Everyday met with friendly conversation and suggestions. A peaceful oasis."

"The property is large and spacious and we were comfortable there. It is a great location for all Sao Miguel has to offer. Nothing was further than an hour away. It was very clean. The washing machine and courtyard to dry clothes was brilliant, especially with a two year old. Unfortunately, there were a couple of things that let the property down. The kitchen was poorly equipped for example there were no cooking knives and we had to go out and buy our own cleaning spray to wipe down the kitchen...

"We loved our stay at Mar Grande. In fact, we’re staying in a flat in Terceira right now that makes me miss it. The flat was so perfect for us: the views were incredible, the flat was located in a great area with plenty of parking, there was plenty of natural light, and the kitchen was well stocked with kitchen equipment so I could cook real meals.
