"This apartment was exactly as pictured and represented. It's located in a quiet area - Ponto Formoso - a short 20-25 minute drive from the airport and 5-10 minutes from the bigger town of Ribiera Grande. The view from the apartment is the best. We loved eating every meal on the balcony and ending our days laying out on the beach and going for a swim. There are two life guard towers and snack bar style restaurant on the beach. "We thoroughly loved our week stay here. Everything on the island was in easy access and a short 1.5 km walk you were in the centre of Ribeiro Grande. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The highlight for us was Marion’s hospitality which began with a guided 30 min tour of the village to orient us. Everyday met with friendly conversation and suggestions. A peaceful oasis."

"Mariana was very quick at answering questions. The shades and the screens were broken. The place was clean, but there were ants everywhere. The house smelled of a kitty litter box and there were cats in there because my brother’s allergies were really bad inside the house. Lastly, the back outside area was pooped everywhere from the birds. You could not walk outside without shoes. The WiFi was great, but the tv does not connect."

"The space worked perfectly for my husband and me; easy walk to the center of town, great view, easy parking. The building felt safe and secure, and the a/c was important, but a little hard to direct towards the bedroom. The man who checked us in was lovely, but the process would be a little smoother if you didn’t have to meet with a person to get in, as we didn’t have cell service, so we were unaware of changes to the plan and unable to contact him about our schedule, as well."

"The apartment was perfect for us. So much was provided; the welcome pack was out of this world. From fig jam to wine to eggs to cheese to chorizo spread and much more. All local produce which was delicious. The apartment itself felt roomy as did the balcony. "The location of the flat was ideal for exploring the island. Pingo Doce, a very large supermarket, was a two minute drive. Mariana was very responsive and helpful. She was very kind and had many suggestions to help make our vacation a spectacular experience. There are many excellent restaurants on the island but having the ability to cook and enjoy our meals on the very spacious balcony made the vacation extra special. "The location is challenging to get to but the property with the 2 pools overlooking the water is worth the drive. Some updating is required especially in the hallways to the rooms. Rooms are updated and beautiful. We needed a light replaced and a slow water faucet to be fixed. The reception is very helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable about the island.
