"Communications before our stay were excellent. A very warm welcome awaited us us in a cold wet day. Check in was an easy process and everything was explained thoroughly. 3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (591)
"Hotel is due a refurb we were told and it certainly needs it. On the outside fantastic looking building. Inside very grand but is unloved and unkept for a long time it seems. Very dirty, surface clean only, piles of dust by bed, windows large cobwebs, wallpaper looks as old as the house. Most staff very good."

"A wonderful hotel with a beautiful meal. The staff are so helpful it's unreal. The only downside was the heating was stuck on and I couldn't get it to turn down My fault, I never called reception. But opening the windows was a shame as we were over the kitchen door and they came out to smoke regularly which stank. I'm a non smoker. Again. I didn't complain so that's on me. The rooms however are delightful and the food amazing"
