"Overall the cottage is very nice and we had a comfortable stay. The cottage is in a good location to tour the South Hams and is peaceful and quiet. We felt some of the facilities were a bit outdated and tired, with a few upgrades to the details like fresh new crockery, a decent sharp knife, coffee machine and music player upgraded to the 21st century it would be a bit more wow for a 5 star from us."

"dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down...

"I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back."

"We had several properties including the one next door to you, and I have to say I liked yours the best as it accommodated the 4 of us perfectly and we had some room to all sit together as there were a total of 12 of us and 3 children but pent of room to sit and talk and get together with all. We will definitely try and get this property again as Sara was very accommodating and comunicative and I felt bad that I could not respond to you as the messages were coming in on my U.S. based phone but I...

"The house is perfect for a couple and dogs. It’s location is excellent, there is a park and sea walk, literally a few minutes away, and an amazing walk down to the dog friendly beach. The harbour and restaurants is a 10 minute walk away. The house is lovely, very light and airy with an open plan downstairs, leading to a private garden and patio area. It is also very quiet, just birds singing. I would strongly recommend this property in Devon."
